Our Story

Wahy Center is a non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas, Founded in 2023 with the aim  to bring seekers and learners together, focusing on nurturing educated, enlightened, and purified hearts and minds through the mentorship of teachers and spiritual guides.

Nurturing a sound faith (iman) is essential to living as proud Muslims in the West. For decades, scholars, teachers, and community leaders have been striving to facilitate opportunities for learning and spiritual growth for young Muslims and adults. Wahy Center is an Austin-based initiative that aspires to contribute to this noble goal by providing a clear and consistent path to authentic Islamic education for young Muslims and adults.

Through the mentorship of our spiritual guides and a clear path to authentic Islamic education, we seek to build an enlightened and spiritually rooted community of learners that knows and loves Allah. A community that acts as His vicegerents on earth and lives out the beautiful traditions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Our Vision

“We envision a Muslim household where a share of sacred Islamic knowledge exists and is lived, alongside a passion for the lifelong pursuit of Islamic knowledge and spiritual growth.”

To fulfill this vision, Wahy Center aims to build educational programs that:
  • Focuse on developing: faithful hearts, meaningful worship, good character, and confident Muslims.

  • Utilize a curriculum rooted in wahy (Revelation) and turath (Islamic tradition), following following Wahy’s ABCs model of instruction: Authentic, Brief, and Comprehensive.

  • Make the necessary knowledge and tools for spiritual growth accessible to seekers by offering quality classes and seminars.

  • Foster the passion to pursue Islamic knowledge from a young age by offering classes tailored to teenagers.

  • Nurture the love of Allah through learning, immersion, dhikr (remembrance) and fikr (reflection).
Connect learners to qualified scholarship and spiritual guides (
morshid) to aid them in their journey.
