Course Catalogue

Wahy Teens runs as a 10-week course meeting weekly, with each session thoughtfully designed to balance learning, discussion, and community building. Our courses address the topics that matter most to young Muslims—building a meaningful relationship with Allah, understanding Islamic teachings, navigating modern challenges, and finding inspiration in the lives of prophets, companions, and scholars.

Our current course offerings include:

1. Duʿāʾ: From My Heart to Allah

Duʿāʾ is not just about asking—it is the most liberating, empowering, and transformational conversation we can have with Allah ﷻ.
In this course, we explore the meaning, etiquette, and power of duʿāʾ. We will learn how to integrate these supplications into our daily lives, strengthen our īmān, bring comfort to our hearts, and deepen our connection with Allah.

2. Seeds of Adab

Seeds of Adab is designed to nurture prophetic character and everyday Islamic etiquette (adab) in middle school students. Through interactive lessons, storytelling, and practical scenarios, students will explore the manners taught by the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ—such as how to give greetings, show empathy, speak kindly, be a good guest, and interact respectfully in gatherings, online, and with people of diverse backgrounds. Each week plants a new “seed” of prophetic behavior, helping students grow into thoughtful, respectful, and spiritually aware young Muslims.

3. Teen Matters

Through a series of guided and interactive discussions, this course addresses practical issues and challenges facing Muslim teens on a daily basis, while providing an Islamic perspective on how to navigate them. Topics include the fiqh of social media, gender roles, relationships, and their impact on our mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

4. Inner Struggle

This course explores the concept of the soul (nafs) in detail, highlighting the diseases of the heart and offering practical tools for purification of the heart (tazkiyah). Students will learn how to purify their hearts, strengthen their relationship with Allah ﷻ, and understand the causes and practical cures for spiritual illnesses.

5. Qur’an & Me: A Teen’s Guide to Living the Qur’an

This course invites students to move beyond surface recitation and truly engage with the Qur’ān’s meanings, wisdom, and transformative guidance. We will learn how to reflect deeply on āyāt (tadabbur) to uncover lessons that shape our hearts, transform our character, and guide our actions in daily life.
Through thoughtful reflection, meaningful discussion, and practical application, learners will discover how the Qur’ān speaks directly to their lives, strengthens their īmān, and inspires them to live according to its timeless wisdom. The course also focuses on developing a Qur’ān-centred worldview—connecting what we read with how we act, think, and interact with the world around us.

6. Faith Essentials: What a Young Muslim Must Know

This course covers the most fundamental tenets of ʿaqīdah that Muslims must know, believe in, and deeply understand. Through carefully selected traditional texts, the course explores essential topics such as the existence of Allah, His divine attributes, His books, His messengers, His angels, the Day of Judgment, divine decree, and life after death. The course also addresses contemporary theological issues and their impact on the life and character of a believer.

7. Meaningful Ṣalāh and Daily Duʿāʾ

Ṣalāh is the pillar of Islam and the most powerful means of connecting with Allah. Yet many struggle to feel spiritually connected in their prayer, leading them to ask: Why do we not feel presence in our ṣalāh? How can we improve its quality?
In this course, we embark on a journey to uncover the spiritual dimensions of ṣalāh and explore practical methods for attaining
khushūʿ. Throughout the course, students will memorize essential duʿāʾs and adhkār while reflecting on the meaning and beauty behind each word.

8. In the Company of the Prophets

This course introduces students to the major prophets of Allah, focusing on their pursuit of guidance and their journeys of daʿwah. Within their lives, we find profound life lessons, deep spiritual nourishment, and inspiring examples of dedication, patience, unwavering faith, and love for Allah.

9. Living the Sīrah

People naturally seek guidance and inspiration from those they view as role models admired for their qualities, achievements, and values. In today’s world, celebrities and influencers often fill this role. This course reconnects youth with their greatest role model—Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ.
Through selected and inspiring moments from the life of the Prophet ﷺ, the course aims to cultivate an unshakable love for him and draw lessons that shape moral and spiritual development. The course also highlights key proofs of prophethood.

10. In Their Footsteps: Walking the Path of Righteousness

This course introduces students to some of the major Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, drawing inspiration from their life stories.
It also explores the rich history of Islamic civilization, its contributions to world civilization, and the history of Islam in America.

11. Timeless Wisdom: Words That Shape the Heart

This course introduces students to a selection of deeply spiritual prophetic sayings essential for personal growth and nurturing a deeper love for Allah and the Prophet ﷺ. The course aims to inspire students to seek the pleasure of Allah and to practice these teachings in their daily lives.
