WAHY FOUNDATIONAL
Diploma in Islamic Studies
Wahy Foundational Program provides students with a structured learning opportunity that combines traditional scholarship with contemporary relevance, empowering them to live Islam confidently. The program’s courses are designed to establish a basic foundation in and introduction to Islamic Studies, as well as prepare students for advanced studies.
Students may complete 8 courses across 6 core areas—Fiqh, Tafsīr, Hadith, ʿAqīdah, Sīrah, and Tazkiyah—at their own pace to earn the Diploma in Islamic Studies, or enroll in individual courses to suit their interests and schedule. Graduates are encouraged to continue to the Wahy Associate for advanced study.
Program Structure
- Format: Flexible, self-paced study
- Delivery: Weekly live classes (in-person or online) with recordings available
- Course Length: 8–10 weeks per course
- Course Load: 8 courses across six core disciplines
- Completion Options: Complete all 8 courses at your own pace to earn the Foundational Certificate in Islamic Studies or take individual courses based on your interests and schedule
